Instant fan By Lakwatsera Lovers

Last night was the Red Carpet premiere of Must Be Love at Sm Megamall. Yes we have tickets but we decided to give it away to my cousin as she wanted to see Daniel Padilla in person. Finally we watched it to see what the buzz is all about and if the KatNiel love-team would work on the big screen...

Recycled plot but witty By CineramaEtcetera

The plot was predictable — a no brainer, the stuff formulaic mainstream movies are made of.  On all counts, this should have accounted for a boring disaster.

However, I found that I liked the film a lot despite the recycled plot. It seemed that the excellent direction of Dado Lomibao (sic) and the witty script of screenwriters Melissa Chua and Roumella Monge made the film seem fresh and fun, entertaining and relateable to the audience...

SPOILER ALERT

A pleasant surprise By forg (pinoyexchange.com)

Must Be...Love is a pleasant surprise. Just as I thought that this is a typical flash in the pan romcom, it gives an honest  look on a young person's struggle with one's self and how it affects her relationships as she grows up. It doesn't exactly offer a fresh insight but it wore its heart on its sleeve that is simply hard to dismiss.

Exceeded expectations By Sherica143 (pinoyexchange.com)

The undeniable chemistry of the two main leads, the witty banters, funny lines, beautiful locations and of course excellent supporting cast concluded the movie a success. The movie didn’t have any dull moment at all. It made cry, laugh and definitely brought me back to feeling like it’s high school all over again. Their love team will probably go far!

The transformation in each of us By Rod Magaru

The best part of it is the fact they have a powerful supporting cast that make us laugh, cry and sympathize every step of the way.  This is not discounting the fact that Kathniel is there to deliver that “kilig” moment and make us fall in love again. We might think that this is movie is for the teeny bopper kind of movie goers but lo and behold this is exactly the right kind of movie for all ages. It’s a feel good movie and it really is....

A sweet young love By Mighty Mau

The movie was really made to enjoy and feel good. It is more of a celebration of young love. The film will make you realize to value love, family, friends and yourself. I really do hope for KathNiel as a tandem to have more projects together because this film really showed how effective they are together on-screen....
